Beth Anne & Paul

The first wedding of the summer was at Pharsalia and is one of my favorite weddings ever! It was looking like rain all day, which would have changed their outdoor ceremony. This couple buried a bottle of bourbon and the rain STOPPED just in time and stayed away the rest of the night!

Southern folklore says that if you bury a bottle of bourbon at the site where the bride and groom are to be married it won't rain on their wedding day. According to many believers, this must be done exactly one month before the wedding, the bottle must be completely full, and it must be buried upside down to ensure maximum weather persuasion.

I am a believer now! I am so excited to share with you Beth Anne and Paul's special day.

April and Michael's Sacramento Wedding

It seems every year I find myself out on the west coast to photograph a wedding and I absolutely love it! Last month I got to be a part of an intimate boat wedding in Old Town Sacramento and it was such a fun time. There is something about that California golden hour that I cannot get enough of! Enjoy :)
